Elementary Teaching Position – Roosevelt Public School (Carson, ND)
Roosevelt Public School is seeking a passionate and flexible elementary teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. Grade level assignment (Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd) will be based on the best fit for our students and staff.
We are a K–8 school located in rural south central North Dakota, with a student-to-teacher ratio of less than 10:1. Our small class sizes allow for strong relationships and individualized instruction. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, tight-knit team that works closely together to help every student succeed.
As a 7 Mindsets school, we are also committed to fostering social-emotional growth alongside academic development.
Qualifications:
● Valid North Dakota teaching license (or ability to obtain)
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
● Growth mindset and team-oriented
● Experience or interest in rural education and multigrade settings is a plus
Benefits:
● $43,500 base salary (2025-2026)
● District pays 8% of teacher's TFFR contribution.
● 4 personal days + 12 sick days
● 100% of a single health insurance policy
● Potential for sign-on bonus
